THE OFFICE 5ª TEMPORADA




Rodada como una pseudo-parodia de un "docu-reality" sobre la vida moderna en una oficina de trabajo de los Estados Unidos, The Office ahonda en las vidas de los trabajadores de una pequeña compañía papelera llamada Dunder Mifflin, ubicada en Scranton, Pennsylvania. El gerente regional Michael Scott (Steve Carell) es un hombre de mediana edad, aún soltero y que actúa como el fanfarrón narrador que nos guía a través de este falso documental.

Con un entusiasmo inquebrantable, Michael cree firmemente que es un hombre divertido en la oficina, que es una fuente de sabiduría en el terreno de los negocios y que sus empleados lo ven como un buen amigo.
No tiene ni idea de que sus empleados soportan su conducta inapropiada sólo porque es el encargado de firmar sus cheques mensuales. Intenta constantemente intentar agradar a sus empleados y parecer estar a la
última moda, lo que a menudo roza lo absurdo y lo patético como demuestra el hecho de que su más preciada posesión es su taza al "Mejor Jefe del Mundo" y que tuvo que comprarse él mismo.
