Sinopsis:
La tripulación de un barco especializado en remolcar buques, acude en busca de un lujoso transatlántico abandonado, que ha sido visto a la deriva, y que según las leyes internacionales pertenecerá a quien lo encuentre. Descubren que los tripulantes originales han muerto violentamente, y que varias presencias fantasmales rondan por el lugar.

Cinta ambientada en un barco tipo “Titanic”, del director de 13 fantasmas, que como aquella ha sido producida por Dark Castle, una compañía especializada en terror, creada por Robert Zemeckis y Joel Silver. El punto fuerte lo constituye la atmósfera fantasmal y los efectos especiales; en este apartado se nota que Beck fue, antes de director, responsable de efectos visuales en títulos como Indiana Jones y la última cruzada.
